·An understanding of how to install a second internet connection to ensure continuous service and back up of the UC/VoiP solution.
·How to design a backup solution to the primary internet.
·A strong understanding of SIP (Session Initiation Protocol)
·SMS texts, LCR (least cost routing)
·Knowledge on how to Implement Quality-of-Service (QoS).
·Knowledge on how to migrate from a PBX to a UC VOIP solution.
·Knowledge on how to fully secure a VoIP setup
·SIP Proxy and VPN.
·Knowledge on how to measure the Quality of the VoIP service.
·Strong Communication skills. The ability to be able to “white board and communicate solutions.
·The ability to integrate Cisco UC into a Cisco UCCX contact center.
