As a new intake in the department of Accounting/Finance and Administration, you will be placed to work under the supervision of our existing team experienced staff to Establish/refine and implement administration and logistics procedures in line with organizational requirements. And;

- Establish/refine and manage all procure and logistics activities, including possible management of vehicles and drivers.

- Supervise the administrative needs of the staff including flight bookings, obtaining legal documentation, visa renewal, medical evaluation, medical coverage, etc.

- Manage the Company’s registration in Iraq, Iraqi Kurdistan, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and in any other country as deemed necessary.

- Identify, establish and manage accommodation for international staff, ensuring effective security.

- Ensure that contractual commitments (e.g. for the rental of vehicles and/or premises) are expressed in forms appropriate for the circumstances.

- Ensure that all necessary legal requirements are met, e.g. obtain vehicle registration, work permits, import licenses, and such, by liaising with government agencies.

- Supervise the administrative needs of the staff including flight bookings, obtaining legal documentation, visa renewal, medical evaluation, medical coverage, etc.

- According to budget availability and following Company’s objectives, participate in relevant sections of projects linked with administrative issues (capacity building, animation of workshops or training sessions for NGO partners) etc.

Accountancy / Cash Flow management

- Supervision of cash books and bank books management.

- Responsibility for all local accounting of all programs and bases (up to four bases, currently one in

Baghdad).

- Co-ordinate and maintain a cash forecasting system to ensure that adequate funds are available to meet the working requirements of the programs.

- Consolidation of various locations’ accountancies on SAGA software.

- Preparation of audits (general audit, donors’ audits).

-Prepare the consolidated budget for all grants.

- Any other duty as requested by the company management Minimum Qualifications,

-A lot of traveling to our International Facilities in Austria, Saudi Arabia, Ecuador, Madagascar, Brazil, Kuwait, Netherland, Poland, China, Lebanon, Kenyan, etc. is involved this position, hence, why OPEC must need to acquire Diplomatic Passport for all selected employees.

Knowledge and Experience you will need in this division:

- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience

- At least two years relevant experience in a finance/admin function in the field at an appropriate level, with sound understanding of working with an international organization

- Proven financial analysis and forecasting ability

- Proven management experience, including remote management of staff and office locations

- Excellent written and spoken English is essential; French, Kurdish or Arabic language skills desirable.
